Based in Tokyo, Japan, Scholarly Intelligence was set up in 2019 to support publishers, content providers, investors, and other stakeholders in the scholarly communications space with services that require rigorous analysis and a deep understanding of the industry. Our current services are focused on Open Access Analytics, Team & Workflow Analytics, and Strategic Planning. Our clients include multiple Open Access portfolios and some of the largest publishers and providers of scholarly content.
Team
Christos Petrou is an expert in the scholarly communications space, where he worked as lead analyst in the Open Access team of Springer Nature and the Web of Science team of Clarivate Analytics. A geneticist by training, he previously worked in agriculture and as a consultant for Kearney, and he holds an MBA from INSEAD.
